Please consider being a part of our mission to attain "safer living through community giving" in Anne Arundel County.

Why Help?

Tax dollars support a budget that provides for basic needs. The fire service is challanged to supply resources and technology to fill the needs for a dynamic community.

Additional funds are required to meet that end. A focused effort with community support and a partnership between the "Foundation," educators and fire service personnel will assure "Safer Living" in your community.
Your home fire safety checklist should include:

1. An "escape plan" with a safe meeting place.

2. Install and maintain smoke alarms every level of your home.

3. Sleep with your bedroom door closed to provide a barrier to fire and smoke.

4. Consider placing an additional smoke alarm in each bedroom.

5. Never leave cooling food, candles, or any heating device unattended.

6. Turn off burner under pan fires and cover with a lid.

7. Provide protection from Carbon Monoxide poisoning
